10/07/10 - 28/07/10: 'Artist in the Garden - Mixed Summer Show', The Art Shop & Gallery, Abergavenny

A selection of George Williams' work features in this years 'Artist in the Garden' Summer show at the Art Shop & Gallery in Abergavenny, running from the 10th July until the 28th August 2010. Much like the Christmas show, the exhibition features some fantastic work from a variety of artists, and is worth checking out.

28/11/09 - 24/12/09: 'Christmas Mixed Show', The Art Shop & Gallery, Abergavenny

For the second year running, George Williams is proud to feature a selection of new work in this years 'Christmas Mixed Show' at the Art Shop & Gallery in Abergavenny, running from the 28th November until the 24th December 2009. The show features a fantastic range of work from a variety of artists, so please come and check it out.

06/11/09: Website update

George Williams' website has received an overdue update. This includes a new image of a recent painting on the homepage, an up to date and fresh about page, and a makeover of the paintings page now includes archived sections where by you can select a year to view paintings from that time period.

07/07/09 - 01/08/09: 'Play Pause Stop', Portman Village Galleries

A selection of work by George Williams, including a new painting, will feature in a group show in the temporary Portman Village Galleries, 18-20 Seymour Place, W1H 7NH from the 7th July until the 1st August.
Other artists featuring in the show include: Priya Chohan, Hanna Clarke, Annelie Fawke, Jonathan Hampton, Kit Merritt and Jessica Wallis.
The show has been organised by 4walls, a creative communtiy of artists that hold regular crit groups, and utilise free project spaces for the creation of exhibitions. For more information about 4walls, please click here.

 

 

25/11/08 - 30/12/08: 'Marmite Prize for Painting 2008', Studio 1.1

The 'Marmite Prize for Painting 2008', this year taking place in Studio 1.1 on Redchurch Street, will feature a painting by George Williams amongst other entries. The show runs from the 25th November until the 30th November 2008 (12 - 6p.m.), with the private view and prize giving taking place on Thursday the 27th November (6 - 9p.m.)

11/10/08 - 19/10/08: 'All This Time', The Crypt, St Pancras Church (NW1)

Some new work by George Williams will feature in The Vanity Show's 'All This Time' in The Crypt of St Pancras Church, Euston Road, NW1 2BA. The show runs for just over a week, from the 11th to the 19th of October 2008, with the Private view on Friday the 10th October, 6-9pm (all are welcome).

Sayshun Jay, an artist based in Bow, London, featured in the Bow Arts Trust Open Studios 2008. Jay's showpiece, a collection of work (including his own) from a selection of East London based artists, included a new painting by George Williams.
